Anybody is invited to write a poem, of any length or type, (from limerick to epic!),about Down Hatherley (like the humorous example on the left), and maybe win a Book Token!Please bring your poem on the day (preferably typed not hand-written). Each entry will be pinned onto a display board at the Village Fun Day on Sunday July 13th and anyone attending the event (between 1pm -4.30pm) is invited to vote for their favourite poem. The Adult winner and the Child (not above Primary School age) winner will each be awarded a Book Token (to value of 10 Pounds) by the Mayor of Tewkesbury at about 4pm at the Village Fun Day at the Down Hatherley Cricket Club in Wood Lane.
